Umdloti and Umhlanga...

Well, I am back from a wonderful, relaxing 5 days in Umdloti with my parents. This is the first time in 7 years that it was just the 3 of us. They arrived on Sunday the 15th of Feb, with my father in law in tow, though he stayed behind in Pmb. We went to Umdloti on the Monday and stayed there until the Friday. It was so nice to see the sea again and to go into the water and just stand there and get wet. :) We stayed on the 4th floor of the Dolphin View Cabanas, in a nice 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom place. Which means I had my own bathroom and bedroom for a change! There was a lot of monkeys running around; one almost attacked my mom as she tried to wave him away on the balcony and one other climbed in through the bathroom window and stared at me from around the corner! We went to the Symbali Casino the one day, my dad gave me some money to play with and I had a great time playing until everything was gone.. *sigh*. We also went to Umhlanga one afternoon to see the damage caused by some of the flooding that occured there. We could not walk on the paths along the shore but we did go out on the boardwalk. The week was so relaxing..

Other news is that I decided to write a fantasy novel. Hehe.. I have had an idea in my head since I can remember and I think that now is the time to get it on paper. Will have to see how that goes..
